Job Description:

As a Trainee in Domestic Execution at Louis Dreyfus Company, you will be immersed in the various aspects of executing domestic operations within our company. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain practical experience and develop their skills in managing and overseeing domestic logistics, operations, and execution tasks. You will work closely with different departments, including logistics, supply chain, customer service, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of domestic tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Documentation Handling:

    • Assist in the preparation and verification of import and export documents, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations.
    • Learn and adhere to the regulations and requirements of relevant government authorities.
  2. Data Entry and Reporting:

    • Enter relevant data into the company’s information systems.
    • Generate reports to track and analyze import-export activities.
  3. Coordination with Stakeholders:

    • Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth shipment processes.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
  4. Customs Compliance:

    • Gain understanding of customs regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Assist in ensuring that all shipments comply with applicable customs laws and regulations.
  5. Logistics Support:

    • Assist in coordinating transportation and logistics activities, including the booking of cargo space, arranging for transportation, and tracking shipments.
    • Learn to optimize supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Operational Execution:

    • Support day-to-day operational activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
    • Assist in the implementation of operational plans and strategies.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.
  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
    • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute ideas and suggestions to streamline domestic execution processes.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, or a related field.
