Programme Associate For Islamabad PBC is a business policy advocacy platform which undertakes policy research and advocates policy reforms for industrialization. PBC comprises Pakistan’s largest private-sector businesses and conglomerates, spanning 19 sectors of the formal economy.

Job Description:

The Programmer Associate will report to the Resident Director and will perform the following tasks:

Report Writing/Data Collection:

The Programmer Associate is also expected to:

1. Assist in preparing quarterly reports

2. Gather and analyze data on various economic issues and sectors

3. Conduct sectorale reviews as needed

4. Assist in conducting research interviews and surveys

5. Maintain data on economic indicators

Organizing Events:

The Programmer Associate is expected to organize events with minimum supervision. This would entail the following:

1. Assist in preparing a working paper for the event.

2. Make venue, food, lodging, transport arrangements.

3. Assist in identifying and on boarding event manager(s), if required.

4. Ability to organize online events through Webinars using tools such as Zoom, Video Conferencing etc.

5. Ensure the quality of the event.

6. Send invitations to guests, maintain records, and follow-up for confirmations

7. Maintain records, minutes, etc. during any event

8. Develop a report after the conclusion of an event

9. Coordinate with partner organizations before and after the event to ensure appropriate follow-up.

 Office Operations:

The Programmer Associate will assist in office operations such as:

1. Travel itinerary and bookings

2. Record keeping

3. Maintaining and updating contacts directory

4. Any office related operations support.

Location: Islamabad

Contract Type: 1 year (extendable)

Minimum Experience: 2 years

Qualifications: Master’s degree

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs70,000.00 – Rs110,000.00 per month
