Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market and desk research to identify potential grant, funding, collaboration opportunities that match or are aligned with Deaf Tawk’s business lines.
- Experience of developing concept notes and project proposals for institutional donors as well as private donors is required.
- Develop technical proposals for different multilateral organizations/development sector organizations as per their submission standards and needs in supervision of the Country Manager.
- Ensure that all documentation is available for the submission of the proposals within stipulated timeline.
- Identify partnerships with organization that can lead to strengthening our business network and develop MOUs to formalize partnerships, follow up on relationships to ensure further development.
- Work in close coordination with the Country Manager to design and develop new projects.
- Collate programme information for the yearly impact report and ensure its timely development and delivery.
- Identifies business opportunities (i.e., long-term services and supports and other evidence based programs)
- Develops and regularly updates a comprehensive business development plan, with targeted goals, objectives, methods, quantifiable outcomes and timelines to achieve business goals.
- Be willing and committed to take on new work as and when required and to be proactive.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, Public Administration, International Relations or any other related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of work experience.
- At least 3 years of concept note writing and proposal development experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in English is required (written and spoken).
- Expertise in desk and market research.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to work effectively with business partners, prospects and community stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
